Oh I love Saturdays! The best day of the week! 🙂
The weather is finally gorgeous again, after days and days of rain, so my husband and I had a lovely walk. Together. No stress. No hurry.
Listening to beautiful music in the street,
Admiring the architecture in our town, me looking for patterns and inspiration. 🙂
Buying books is always a must. I’ve spent more money on books lately than on clothes, that’s for sure.
Here I am, showing off my handmade belt (which I’ll show you in another post) in front of the book store. 🙂
There were so many interesting things to see. Beautiful shapes and textures, things that could tell a story…
And more inspiration
But obviously being watched. 🙂
Passing through a beautiful gate into the park
To admire the statues
and find marks of someone’s love, written on the ground. 🙂
I love days like this. Creating, creating, creating! Although I make all kinds of things, my favorite activity is, of course, weaving. But I don’t blog that much about it. Why? Well, because it’s a slow process and there would be about one post a week if not less! And I want to blog because it’s fun and because it keeps me connected with people around the world, and because once I started doing that, I can’t seem to stop! ,and because I love to make different things, things that are my way of self exploring, exploring art, exploring different mediums, exploring life! Sooo, that’s why I did everything today! There was some weaving done, then sewing my handwoven fabric, then making some cute ornaments, and it is all still work in progress, but there was huge progress made today, so I’m happy!
Have a great weekend! 🙂
If you ask me about red, I would tell you that it’s not one of my favorite colors. So, I really don’t know why I wanted one wall in my bedroom to be red. I love how it turned out, it gives a nice feeling. But, when it comes to clothes, I don’t think I have one red item in my wardrobe. Strange.
And, I also started to paint some items for the bedroom to coordinate with that wall. First I painted a lantern, then a jewelry box.The opposite wall is cream, so I think it looks really nice.
But the best thing was this heart I found in my coffee cup last evening:
Isn’t that lovely?
