Journal Pages

Playing again in my journals. I like working in several journals at the same time, adding this or that when I want toΒ  and when I feel inspired. It does make a mess on my table, but who cares! πŸ™‚

Here is a spread I did in my “Texture Journal”, or “Handmade Paper Journal”. I just love the look of the pages, and when I finish working in this journal, which is going to be soon as it is almost full, I plan to make a new batch of papers textural and thick like these. πŸ™‚

Then some pages from my “Small Journal” that is growing and growing as I keep adding to it. I use old post cards, scrap paper and cardboard, packaging material etc to work on, then punch holes and eventually it will be bound with some fun and colorful yarn. πŸ™‚

  1. Sonja — What can I say? Is there anything you cannot do? LoL – I love these journal pages – I need some hints on how you do this – I need to try some new things in my art journal – Please Help! Love your style & our friendship Xx

  2. My favourite is the one which is second from bottom. It has so many colours and looks really tempting. But even if you gift me one, I might keep it as-it-is. You work with so much enthusiasm- I really do hope that I pick some of that from you. Amazing work, really!

    • Thank you Tatsat! I appreciate that! This is something I do for fun and to explore and grow as an artist, and because art journaling and painting is something still a bit new to me, it feels even better when people like it, I feel like I am on the right path. Thanks for making me more confident. ☺
