Well, this has been a not so good month for me. Apart from finishing a lot of work around the apartment, decorating and such, (and still a lot to be done), with hubby working almost night and day and Meda having health issues, I can’t say I’m ok. Working, worrying and a lack of sleep is not the best combination. But, that’s all I’m going to say about that. I don’t want to spread bad energy. Instead, I’m going to show you a few pieces I managed to finish. It seems like hand sewing is my remedy. It’s relaxing, I can do it while watching (or shall I say- listening) TV, and most importantly I can do it in my living room with hubby by my side.
A purple journal, which IS purple, despite this bad photo :
Well, grey and purple. 🙂
And another one, different color scheme:
A heart brooch:
Tiny books:
And cookies! 🙂
These cookies are so easy to make, and they are yummy! Here is the recipe:
Mix 3 eggs, 200 grams of sugar, 4 Tbsp melted honey, 100 grams of butter, one Tsp backing powder, 500 grams flour, cinnamon (about one Tsp), and a bit of grated lemon zest. Make small balls, let’s say about one and a half inch in diameter or less, put them in the pan on the baking paper a bit apart from each other as they will rise in the oven, and bake them at 200 degrees Celsius until they look like these in the photo. 🙂 You could put them in a container and keep them gorgeously fresh for days. Although, that never happens in my home, we eat them instantly. LOL!
And one more thing! If you like Art journaling, visit this site. This lady has some great ideas about Art journal, how to get started, etc. So inspiring and encouraging!
Have a wonderful day! 🙂

Thank you Kristine! I’m so glad to hear from you! xoxo!
So sorry you are having a difficult month. I am quite impressed that you were still able to create some beautiful things. I don’t get much creating done when I am having a tough time. And cookies are always a remedy for all that troubles you. Hugs.
Deb, it was good that I was able to make things, it saved me from going insane. 🙂
I love the journals you make. I hope things are better soon. And thanks for the art journal link.
Thank you Terri! <3! 🙂
Those journals are so beautiful, as always! ❤ Gah! Now all I want to do is go home and sew!
Thank you Eliza! 🙂
