Scraps and junk mail

I’ve maid some tags using scraps of paper and fabric, with a bit of paint and some sewing. It’s quick and easy project:

I also used some junk mail to make these bookmarks. First I painted them with acrylic pain, then dipped a leaf into a golden paint and pressed onto them. It adds a nice detail, don’t you think? πŸ™‚

It’s so easy to make these things, and costs almost nothing! I have more to finish, and with this crazy hot weather, it’s a perfect thing to do. πŸ™‚

  1. Sonja – Your tags are just precious, so many different colors and designs – I LOVE your bookmarks – You used my favorite color pattern (Colors of Fall – Gold, Burgundy etc …) – Just beautiful – You have the best ideas – Any chance you can move to the States to be closer? We could have “Creative Get-Togethers” … Perhaps, Someday. The weather is “crazy hot” here, as well – Stay Cool!

  2. Just beautiful work – Americas have an experession – “Jack of all trades” – Meaning you can do anything – I think you are the “Jill of all trades” – Everything you touch turns to gold! So glad we are friends – Yes, a coffee shop visit and some creating would be wonderful – Perhaps in Italy!

  3. If you are moving to the States Sonja – Duxbury, Massachusetts is very nice πŸ™‚ (hint, hint!)
I love your work and these are inspired!
